The ignition housing must be detached from the multifunction lever bracket while you slide the bracket from the column. To install the lock housing with multifunction lever bracket begin by hand-torqueing bolts until they create a 3.2 mm (0.125 in) gap between ends and verify the lock tab can fully enter the column slot.
