How to replace the Turn Signal Switch on 2009 Chevrolet HHR?

In order to install the turn signal multifunction switch, remove the instrument panel cluster trim plate bezel and the steering column trim covers. Unplug the electric connections and pull off the switch by pushing the locking tabs. Install the new switch and reconnect the connectors and reinstall the trim covers.
