    A: You need to remove the instrument panel cluster trim plate bezel before changing the turn signal multifunction switch. Unbolt the cover beneath the steering column first and remove the top cover of the steering column. Disconnect the wires from the turn signal multifunction switch before moving the left lower steering column trim cover aside. Press the switch locking mechanisms to easily take out the turn signal multifunction switch. Insert the new turn signal multifunction switch with locking tabs by clicking them into place when you put it in place before plugging in the electrical connectors. Reinstall first the steering column trim covers before placing back the instrument panel cluster trim plate bezel.
