How to replace the alternator (LS3 or LS7) on 2010 Chevrolet Corvette?

First remove the Drive Belt before starting generator (LS3 or LS7) replacement. Start by disconnecting the negative cable from the battery before you unplug the generator electrical connector (1 and 2). First remove the battery terminal nut and battery feed cable before taking out the generator by removing all mounting bolts. Position the generator on its mounting bracket and insert generator bolts before tightening them to 50 nm (37 lb ft). After you connect generator electrical connector (1 and 2) you should install the battery feed cable and tighten the battery feed terminal nut to 13 nm (115 lb in). The Drive Belt installation completes the procedure followed by reattaching the negative Battery Cable.
