How to replace the shift cable on 2010 Chevrolet Express 2500?

In order to change the Shift Cable, turn the parking brake on and park the steering column shift lever. Take off the knee bolster trim panel and bracket, disconnect the shift cable and reach the grommet. Take out the cable and fix the new cable making sure it has been put in the correct orientation and is firmly fixed.
