How to Replace a Seat Cushion Pad and Cover for the Driver or Passenger Seat Back on 2010 Chevrolet Express 3500?

The first step to change driver or passenger seat back cushion cover and pad consists of removing the assist handle in case it exists. The bottom j channel retainers need to be released from the seat back cover and then the armrest should be removed. After that remove the hook and loop strips so the seat back cover can be separated from the seat back foam pad. Seam the seat back cover from the foam pad through side-to-side motion then strip away the seat back foam pad from the seat back frame while cleaning all remnants of foam pad residue or glue. When installing the seat back foam pad connect it to the seat back frame by using hot melt glue as a substitute. Connect the seat-back cover onto the foam-padded surface while proceeding from side to side before replacing the armrest. Complete the installation by attaching the j channel retainer at the bottom edge of the seat back cover using hook and loop strips between the seat back foam pad.
