To replace the Fuel Injector it is necessary to first remove the Fuel Injector retaining clip followed by taking out the Fuel Injector from the Fuel Rail then discarding both the lower and upper o-rings. Make sure to check that the new Fuel Injector assembly contains matching part number identifiers during its installation. The new injector o-rings need cleaning engine oil as a lubricant before you can install both o-rings. You should slide the Fuel Injector into the Fuel Rail after which you need to fasten it with the retaining clip. Finally, reinstall the Fuel Rail.
