How to replace a fuel injector on 2009 Chevrolet HHR?

The replacement of the Fuel Injector requires removal of the Fuel Rail as its first step. Be careful not to do harm to the Fuel Injector electrical connector pins or nozzles and avoid submerging the Fuel Injector in cleaning solutions because this will damage its electrical component. The presence of leaking fuel injectors results in fuel contamination of engine oil. Extract the Fuel Rail from its position by removing the Fuel Injector retaining clip before extracting the Fuel Injector from its spot on the Fuel Rail. Throw away both components: the lower o-ring along with the upper o-ring. Confirm that the new Fuel Injector assembly carries accurate part number identification before installation. Apply clean engine oil to the new injector o-rings before putting in the upper o-ring and completing with the lower o-ring. Reposition the Fuel Injector to its position on the Fuel Rail and fasten it with the retaining clip. Finally, reinstall the Fuel Rail.
