The next step requires the removal of the engine wiring harness electrical connector from the AIR shutoff/check valve. After suitable vehicle support you should start by removing the AIR shutoff/check valve nuts before lowering the vehicle. To remove the AIR shutoff/check valve bolts you should extract the AIR check valve together with its companion gasket that needs disposal. Install the NEW gasket onto the AIR pipe studs before you position and install the AIR check valve followed by installing the AIR shutoff/check valve bolts to a torque of 50 Nm (37 lb-ft). With the vehicle elevated, install the AIR shutoff/check valve nuts by torquing them to 10 Nm (89 lb in).
