    A: A proper replacement of the Fuel Filler Hose requires cleaning both fuel and evaporative emission (EVAP) connections as well as the surrounding areas to avoid contamination. The tank demands a fuel pressure relief with ch 48027 or should be relieved based on need. Begin by removing fuel fill pipe screws from the pocket located by the fuel filler opening before using a lifting method to support the vehicle. The brackets holding the underbody rail must lose its bolt so technicians can detach the evap line from its mounting point. Disconnect the pipe clamp securing the Fuel Tank before removing the fuel pipe hose from the Fuel Tank. The quick connect vent fitting on the Fuel Tank needs to be disconnected from its compatible fitting on the Fuel Tank vent pipe. Mount the new Fuel Tank fill pipe and connect its hose to the Fuel Tank surface. Secure the vent pipe quick connect fitting while attaching it to the Fuel Tank vent pipe quick connect fitting. The process requires support personnel to tighten the fuel fill pipe clamp at the Fuel Tank to 2.5 nm (22 lb in). Next, install the evap line to its designated bracket then secure the fill pipe bracket bolt to the underbody rail and torque it to 13 nm (115 lb in). Secure the fuel fill pipe screws within the fuel filler pocket and tighten them at 2.5 nm (22 lb in). Attach the intake manifold cover after all the installation tasks are completed.
