How to replace the rear side door window channel on 2010 Chevrolet Impala?

Set the door on masking tape before you install the new window channel. Take off the rear door trim panel and the water deflector part that lines up with water. Pull the window all the way down before removing the window channel bolt to take out the channel piece from the door. Before installation you need to place the window channel inside the door and use the window run channel bolts to tighten them at 10 Nm (89 lb in). Test the window operation after you remove the masking tape from both spots before putting back the rear door components.
