The replacement of front side door upper and lower hinges begins with opening and supporting the front door. You should remove the intermediate hinge bolts from the front door hinge before moving the door to its maximum rubber conduit position. Clean the surfaces of both hinges with a new rag while marking the front door hinge positions onto each surface using a grease pencil marker. You should remove bolts from the front door-side hinge while taking out the door-side hinge first. You need to take out all bolts from both the body-side hinge and then detach the body-side hinge itself. Position the body-side hinge to the alignment marks while installing its bolts to the body-side hinge then tighten them to 33 Nm (24 lb ft). The body-side hinge must align with the door-side hinge before installing intermediate hinge bolts to the front door hinge while torquing them to 33 Nm (24 lb ft). The door-side hinge bolt installation ends when you tighten the bolts to 33 Nm (24 lb ft) torque before removing the door support to finally check the door operates correctly and aligns correctly.
