How to replace the front upper and lower door hinges on 2011 Chevrolet Impala?

Replace the front side door upper hinge and lower hinge by first opening and supporting the front door with supporting materials. You should remove the intermediate bolts from the front door hinge followed by extending the door as far as it permits through the rubber conduit. Clean both mounting surfaces using a clean rag before placing grease pencil marks or suitable indicators at the front door hinge locations on every surface. Remove the front doorside hinge bolts and then the doorside hinge before you detach the bodyside hinge bolts and the hinge itself. Place the bodyside hinge to its alignment marks before installing bolts and tightening them to 33 Nm (24 lb ft). Install the front door hinge between the bodyside and doorside hinges before attaching the intermediate hinge bolts to each other with 33 Nm (24 lb ft) torque. Finish by adding doorside hinge bolts while ample tightening reaches 33 Nm (24 lb ft) and discard the door support before verifying door function and alignment.
