To install a new engine oil and Oil Filter, first, lift and support the vehicle properly. Deload the Drain Plug and drain the engine oil into a good container, discard the Oil Filter and inspect to ensure that the engine Oil Filter gasket is removed. Add clean engine oil and lubricate the Oil Filter gasket and install the Oil Filter and tighten it at 30 nm (22 lb ft). Then insert the Drain Plug and tighten it to 25 nm (18 lb ft), lower the car. Fill the engine with the right amount and quality of engine oil, lastly run the engine to test against leakages and oil pressure.
