To help remove the transmission mount for rpo z85 and zq8, first, lift and support the vehicle. With the help of a transmission jack, support the transmission, and then take off the two nuts, which cling the transmission mount to the transmission support. Lift the transmission from the support and the remove the bolts at the mount to the transmission. Next, mount the new transmission to the vehicle ensuring that quickener cautionary notes are followed. Mount and tighten the bolts to transmission to 55 nm (41 lb ft). Lower the transmission and lock it using the two nuts which have to be mounted onto the transmission support and tightened up to 57 nm (42 lb ft). Lastly, take out the transmission jack and lower the vehicle.
