How to replace the Brake Light Switch on 2010 GMC Savana 1500?

In order to change a stop lamp switch, unconnect the battery negative cable and electrical connector of the switch. Unscrew the retainer in the brake peddle pin and pull out the switch with the pushrod. Slide the switch to the pushrod, fit it on the brake pedal pin and reconnect.
