Begin replacement of the fuel filler pipe for the rear tank by first draining the fuel until it sits below the fuel tank fill hose level with the appropriate draining tool. Start by removing the 2 retaining bolts along with the push-pin securing the filler neck to the body after that perform a vehicle lift. Disconnect the fuel fill hose from the fuel fill pipe by breaking loose its hose clamp and extracting the fuel filler tube ground strap bolt. Connect the fuel fill pipe to the fuel fill hose with correct alignment to the fuel fill pipe housing before tightening the clamp to 2.75 nm (24 lb in). Reposition the vehicle and fasten the fuel filler tube ground strap bolt to 8 nm while tightening it to 70 lb in before slowly lowering the vehicle back to the ground. As the last steps involve installing the fuel fill pipe housing bolts and push-pin while torquing them to 6 nm (53 lb in) and refilling the tank followed by replacing the fuel filler cap.
