In order to service and repair the Transmission Position Switch/Sensor to 4L60-E/4L65-E/4L70-E automatic transmission, the transmission oil pan and filter must be removed. Remove different components and examine them and see whether they are damaged. Install the parts thereof, taking care to tighten the nut. Lastly, re-fit the transmission oil pan and filter.
