How to replace the rod bearing in an engine on 2010 GMC Terrain?

In order to change the piston, connecting rod and bearing, detach the oil pan and cylinder head. wash the cylinder bores, rub the piston and bore with engine oil. Install the piston with the stamped mark facing in the direction of the front and install the connecting rod caps. Lastly, fit the oil pan and the cylinder head.
