How to replace the rear compartment lid overslam bumper on 2011 Cadillac STS?

In order to remove the rear compartment lid overslam bumper, one has to open the rear compartment then twist the outer bumper counter clockwise in order to remove it. Then take off the bumpers on the hinge. TO install, just turn the outer bumper clockwise, adjust the hinge and re-fit the bumpers and close the compartment.
