How to replace the rear side door check on 2011 Chevrolet Express 1500?

Begin the repair process of the rear side door check by starting with side door stepwell mat removal. Begin by removing the check assembly cover which is bolted to the stepwell before extracting the cover from its place. Remove then the two nuts securing the check assembly to the sliding side door lower track before you take out the check assembly . First position the check assembly onto the sliding side door lower track after which you must follow fastener caution to install two nuts and tighten them to 10 Nm (89 lb in). Reinstall the stepwell mat of the side door as the last step.
