  A: Service and repair of the fluid pan begins with vehicle elevation along with supportive tools before putting a drain pan underneath the transaxle bottom Oil Pan. Loosen the rear Oil Pan bolts four turns and keep damaging the mating surfaces in mind to avoid fluid leakage. You should use either a rubber mallet or a screwdriver to gently tap or pry the Oil Pan loose while the fluid drains so you can subsequently remove the remaining Oil Pan bolts and the Oil Pan together with the Oil Pan gasket .
