How to replace the camshaft on the right side on Buick Enclave?

The right side Camshaft replacement requires two essential tools consisting of en-48313 Timing Chain retention tool (EN-48313) and en 46111 Crankshaft rotation socket (EN 46111). Start the procedure by taking out the lower Intake Manifold then proceeding with removal of the Camshaft cover together with Camshaft sensors and intake Camshaft position actuator solenoid. First obtain the en 46111 Crankshaft rotation socket (EN 46111) to rotate the Crankshaft while following the instructions until both camshafts are in a neutral position with the Camshaft flats parallel to the Camshaft cover rail. Loosen the Camshaft position actuator bolt using an open-end wrench applied to the hex at the Camshaft. Insert the en-48313 between the Camshaft actuators with its top line positioned next to the cylinder head after retracting its legs through unscrewing the en-48313. Turn the t-shaped handle of the en-48313 clockwise to expand its legs partially thus the feet will reach the Timing Chain until they securely enter link pockets to stop the chain from slipping. Secure the en-48313 with hand torque then fasten the hex with an open-end wrench. To attain proper loosening of the chain path the operator should pivot Camshaft components together while writing the marks for successful installation alignment. Begin by removing the Camshaft position actuator bolt after which you can extract the Camshaft bearing caps along with the Camshaft itself. After proper alignment of marks on Camshaft position actuators with the Timing Chain you can install the Camshaft actuators onto the camshafts and assemble bearing caps with camshafts. Put on the en-48313 before installing the Crankshaft balancer while applying an open-end wrench to both Camshaft hexes to block their rotation. The order for final installation includes Camshaft position actuators then intake Camshaft position actuator solenoid and Camshaft sensors and Camshaft cover and lower Intake Manifold.
