How to replace the A/C Switch for the heater and air conditioning control on Buick LaCrosse?

Begin by removing the heater and air conditioning control by removing the instrument panel lower trim plate. Then, remove the HVAC control assembly mounting screws while remembering that retaining clips hold HVAC control assembly in. Pull the back of the HVAC control assembly out of the instrument panel and pull the electrical connectors from the assembly before removing it from your car. The components are perpendicular and have connectors. For installation, the key should be on the off when fit with the electrical connectors to the HVAC control assembly. Mount the HVAC control assembly and fix it using the mounting screws by tightening them to 2 N.m (18 lb in). Finally, refit the instrument panel lower trim plate. Avoiding tweaking any controls that are on the HVAC control assembly makes during the calibration will prevent improper functioning of the HVAC. Start the engine and run 1 minute to complete the process.
