How to replace the A/C Switch control assembly on 2005 Buick LaCrosse?

Start HVAC control assembly replacement by taking off the instrument panel lower trim plate and removing all HVAC control assembly mounting screws. The HVAC control assembly must be pulled backward from its instrument panel position until retaining clips release their hold while removing all electrical connectors from the assembly before complete removal.
