  Start your air temperature sensor replacement by first removing the outer IP trim covers by gently pulling them outward followed by the left and right IP accessory trim plates then the left IP trim panel without removing the lower IP trim. Screws on the air distributor duct are reachable after removing the upper fasteners on the lower IP trim. You can then pull the IP trim off its studs before lowering it away. Work by removing screws from both the air distributor duct center and from outboard positions. To remove the left air temperature sensor you need to rotate it counterclockwise 1/4 turn and disconnect its electrical connector from the air distributor duct. Attach the electrical connector to the new sensor before placing it into the air distributor duct and tightening it 1/4 turn clockwise. Reposition the air distributor duct before tightening each of its outboard screws to 2 N.m (17 lb in) while the center screws receive the same torque value. Securely place the lower IP trim on its deck studs before driving in screws which should be tightened to 10 N.m (89 lb inch values). Reinstallation starts with putting back the left IP trim panel followed by the right and left IP accessory trim plates and the outer IP trim covers.
