How to replace the hood latch on Buick Rainier?

Starting the Hood Latch replacement requires you to remove the grille first. You should use a grease pencil to mark the location of the latch on the mounting bracket before removing the bolts referred to as w715007-s300 that secure the latch to the mounting bracket. Detach the Hood Latch cable from its attachment to the latch and take out the latch from the vehicle. Begin the installation by fitting the Hood Latch cable onto the latch before placing it at the marked spot on the mounting bracket. Mount the latch to the mounting bracket with the bolts (W715007-S300) until tightness reaches 10 n.m (89 lb in). Test the Hood Latch operation after hood closure by inspecting both its function and position to the hood striker. Finally, reinstall the grille.
