Buick Regal Blower Motor Resistor Parts Questions & Experts Answers
Q: How to Service and Repair the Blower Motor Resistor on a Buick Regal?
A: Begin the process of replacing the Blower Motor Resistor by taking off the right instrument panel insulator. Pull off the electrical connector from both the Blower Motor Resistor and the Blower Motor. Tighten only one screw holder on each end of the forward Blower Motor Resistor because space is so restricted. You need to unscrew the screws from the backside of the Blower Motor Resistor to retrieve it. Place the Blower Motor Resistor with its forward slots securely onto the screws while placing the Blower Motor control processor against the hvac module. Screw in the rear Blower Motor Resistor tightly at 1.5 n.m (13 lb in). Once set, fasten the forward plower motor resistor screws to the same torque setting. Connect the electrical wire back to both the air blower and its controller system. Reinstall the part that protects the instrument panel from the right side.
