    Q:
How to replace the blower motor resistor assembly on Buick Century? Posted by Customer
    A:
Begin the Blower Motor Resistor assembly replacement process by taking out the right side instrument panel insulator. Take the electrical plugs off from both the Blower Motor Resistor and the Blower Motor. Undo the two forward screws of the Blower Motor Resistor but keep a close eye on the restricted slotted opening. Pull the screw from the back of the Blower Motor Resistor to reach and remove the part. Position the new Blower Motor Resistor at its designated place by first placing the forward retaining slots over the screws so they snap into position while ensuring the Blower Motor control processor rests against the hvac module. Secure the rear part of the Blower Motor Resistor with a 1.5 n.m (13 lb in) torque then fasten the forward screws at the same setting. Connect the Blower Motor electrical cable first and then join the Blower Motor Resistor wiring before placing back the right-side instrument panel protective panel.

    Q:
How to Service and Repair the Blower Motor Resistor on a Buick Regal? Posted by Customer
    A:
Begin the process of replacing the Blower Motor Resistor by taking off the right instrument panel insulator. Pull off the electrical connector from both the Blower Motor Resistor and the Blower Motor. Tighten only one screw holder on each end of the forward Blower Motor Resistor because space is so restricted. You need to unscrew the screws from the backside of the Blower Motor Resistor to retrieve it. Place the Blower Motor Resistor with its forward slots securely onto the screws while placing the Blower Motor control processor against the hvac module. Screw in the rear Blower Motor Resistor tightly at 1.5 n.m (13 lb in). Once set, fasten the forward plower motor resistor screws to the same torque setting. Connect the electrical wire back to both the air blower and its controller system. Reinstall the part that protects the instrument panel from the right side.

    Q:
How to replace the blower motor resistor assembly on Buick Regal? Posted by Customer
    A:
Start by taking out the right side instrument panel insulator before changing the Blower Motor resistor assembly. Disconnect the electrical wiring from the Blower Motor resistor and motor while remembering that the Blower Motor resistor has a narrow slot to access its internal components. Remove the forward screws of the front resistor and both screws from the rear resistor before removing the entire Blower Motor resistor. Position the forward retaining slots of the Blower Motor resistor onto screws and place the motor control processor correctly onto the hvac housing to install. Put in the Blower Motor resistor and fasten its rear screw to 1.5 n.m (13 lb in) tension while putting and clamping the forward Blower Motor resistor screws with the same force. Reconnect the electrical components to both the Blower Motor and motor resistor before placing back the right side instrument panel insulator.

    Q:
How to replace the blower motor resistor on Chevrolet Corvette? Posted by Customer
    A:
Start replacement by taking off the front floor kick-up panel and cover from the ip electrical center. Unplug blo mot from the ip electrical center then disconnect the ip lower insulator panel on the right side. Unplug both electrical connectors from the Blower Motor resistor prior to unplugging it from the Blower Motor. Turn and slacken the forward two retaining screws of the Blower Motor resistor 5 mm then remove its rear screw. Lower the resistor's back end gently while keeping the attached hvac module part safe to pull the motor resistor out of the vehicle. Check if the Blower Motor resistor seal shows damage and order a new one if needed. Fit the upper part of the Blower Motor resistor into the hvac module while aligning its components. Then place the forward retaining slots of the resistor onto the screws and set the resistor in place. Set the rear screw into position and leave it light tight at first before turning all retaining screws to 1.6 n.m (14 lb in). First join the Blower Motor resistor to its electrical connector and second connect the wiring harness electrical connector to the Blower Motor resistor. Put back the ip lower insulator panel on the right side while also connecting the blo mot maxifuse #49 to its electric connections and replacing both the ip electrical cover and front floor kick-up panel.

    Q:
How to replace the blower motor resistor assembly on Chevrolet Monte Carlo? Posted by Customer
    A:
Begin the Blower Motor Resistor assembly replacement process by taking out the right side instrument panel insulator. Unplug the electricity connections to the Blower Motor Resistor and Blower Motor units. Twist the screws connected to the forward Blower Motor Resistor but be cautious because barely any space exists to work through the slotted hole. Unscrew the back bolt while taking out the Blower Motor Resistor. Put the new Blower Motor Resistor into position by aligning the forward retaining slots of the Blower Motor control processor with its screws and letting it rest on top of the hvac module. Insert the rear screw and then secure all screws to 1.5 n.m (13 lb in) while reconnecting the electrical connections to the motor and resistor. Reattach the right side instrument panel insulator at the end.

    Q:
How to replace the blower motor resistor assembly on Chevrolet Impala? Posted by Customer
    A:
You must remove the right side instrument panel insulator before you can work with the Blower Motor Resistor assembly. Pull apart the electrical connections from the Blower Motor Resistor and the Blower Motor device. Keep in mind only a restricted entry to the restricted opening exists because of how the slotted design blocks access. Release the screws on the Blower Motor Resistor's front side before detached the single screw from the rear and removed the Blower Motor Resistor. Slide the new Blower Motor control processor to fit its forward mounting slots onto the screws before pushing it against the hvac panel. Follow the fastener notice in service precautions while placing the Blower Motor Resistor into position. Then bolt in the rear screw and tighten every screw to 1.5 n.m (13 lb in). Plug the electrical connections back into the Blower Motor and resistance control before placing the right instrument panel insulator back.
