How to service and repair the antenna cable on Buick Rendezvous?

Reaching for servicing and repairing the antenna cable, start by removing the radio, sunshade, sunshade anchor, trim panel from the right cowl side, and garnish molding from the windshield. For the Rendezvous, also take away the assist handle from the headliner. Next, unscrew the bolt fastening the antenna cable extension to the roof to the right front corner of the headliner and pull out the antenna cable from the instrument panel carrier as well as the antenna cable extension. For installation, first the antenna cable and antenna cable extension to be reinstalled into the vehicle whereas the antenna cable should be connected to instrument panel carrier, the bolt securing the cable extension to the roof tightened to a value of 3.2 N.m (28 lb in). For the Rendezvous, reinstall right cowl side trim panel followed by assist handle headliner, garnish molding to the windshield, sunshade anchor, sunshade, and radio.
