  The first step to replace an underhood electrical center or junction block requires the detachment of the negative Battery Cable. The underhood accessory wiring junction block cover needs removal when you separate its retaining tabs and remove the cover from its place. You must detach the positive Battery Cable through nut removal followed by placing the cable to the side. You should start by uninstalling the underhood accessory wiring junction block by first removing its harness retaining bolts and detach the retaining clips followed by lifting the block from its mounting bracket and removing electrical connectors. The underhood accessory wiring junction block receives its electrical connectors before installation by aligning them into respective bracket slots followed by hand-corrected harness retaining bolt attachment and retaining clip positioning. First connect the positive Battery Cable then install and secure the positive Battery Cable nut to 16 n.m (12 lb ft) after harness retaining bolts are tightened to 4 n.m (36 lb in). To complete the installation process install the underhood accessory wiring junction block cover then secure its retaining tabs while reconnecting the negative Battery Cable.
