  A: The first procedure to replace an underhood electrical center or junction block should involve disconnecting the negative Battery Cable. The underhood accessory wiring junction block cover needs releasing its retaining tabs before allowing you to lift it off. The positive Battery Cable needs separation by untightening its securing nut before setting it aside. Remove the harness retaining bolts before you lift up the junction block from its bracket with the help of the four retaining clips and disconnect its electrical connectors. To begin installation align the electrical connectors with their corresponding slots inside the underhood accessory wiring junction block bracket before installing the junction block properly onto the connectors.
