  A: Starting the underhood electrical center junction block replacement process requires disconnecting the negative Battery Cable. Pull away the underhood accessory wiring junction block cover after opening its retaining tabs and removing it. To proceed with the positive Battery Cable disconnect you must remove its retaining nut then move the cable out of the way. Start by loosing the block-retaining bolts from the wiring harness after releasing all four retaining clips followed by block lift-out of its bracket and complete electrical connector removal. The installation requires aligning the electrical connectors properly into the bracket slots followed by inserting the junction block onto the connector points while performing hand torque on the harness retaining bolts. To finish the procedure reconnect the positive Battery Cable then put and tighten the nut to 16 n.m (12 lb ft). Secure the junction block cover by using four retaining clips then tighten all harness retaining bolts to 4 n.m (36 lb in). Finish the installation process by fastening the retaining tabs followed by negative Battery Cable reattachment.
