  A: The initial step to replace the console electrical center and the junction block requires the negative Battery Cable unfastening and front floor console removal. The first step involves disconnecting the Body Control Module (BCM) electrical connectors numbered 1, 2 and 3 as well as the console accessory wiring junction block electrical connectors 1 and 2. The junction block for the console accessory wiring must be separated from its bracket through retainer release before you remove it and then take out the bcm. The installation process requires you to install the bcm first followed by placing the console accessory wiring junction block into its bracket before securing its retainers. Connect the junction block electrical connectors (1, 2) while starting with finger-tight bolting (1, 2) until insertion followed by tightening to 6 n.m (54 lb in). The bcm electrical connectors (1, 2, 3) need connection before reinstalling the front floor console while completing the procedure by reconnecting the negative Battery Cable.
