  A: You need to disassemble the rear bumper fascia before pulling the electrical cable from the rear object sensor. Next they should squeeze the spring to separate it from the housing and can then remove the housing by releasing the tabs. You should push the rear object sensor bezel until it passes through the fascia for removal. When you install the rear object sensor you need to apply paint to it but avoid coating refurbished sensors and verify that the paint does not rise above 6 mils with proper equipment for non-ferrous metals. Place the keyhole in correct position relative to key before using the rear object sensor bezel to press against the fascia surface. Install the housing to its cutouts through the backside of the fascia before placing the spring onto the housing while placing the spring keys at both the top and bottom of thehousing.
