The replacement of the front fender splash shield begins with screw removal from the front bumper fascia along with the fender then proceeds with nut removal from the rear stud of the front fender splash shield lastly the front splash shield is extracted. Place the fender splash shield onto the fender in such a way that it sits over the studs with the rocker molding as its background. The rear stud on the front fender splash shield receives the nut before tightening it to 10 N.m (89 lb in). Proceed by placing the nut on the stud at the front of the front fender splash shield and firmly tighten it to 10 N.m (89 lb in). Secure the screws you install on the front fender splash shield at the front bumper fascia and fender by tightening them to 2 N.m (18 lb in).
