Buick Rendezvous Sway Bar Bushing Parts Questions & Experts Answers

  • Q: How to replace the front sway bar bushing on an all-wheel-drive on Buick Rendezvous?
A: The initial step for replacing the Sway Bar Bushing on an all-wheel-drive vehicle includes raising and supporting the car. Start by disconnecting the height sensor from the lower Control Arm and disconnect its bracket bolts and nuts respectively. The procedure involves removing Sway Bar Bushing brackets together with automatic level control (ALC) position sensor and extracting the bushings from the sway bar. To install the system start by setting the sway bar bushings onto the bar before securing the Sway Bar Bushing brackets together with the alc position sensor if this sensor must be installed. Secure the Sway Bar Bushing bracket bolts while tightening its nuts to 85 nm (63 ft. Lbs.). Connect the height sensor to the lower Control Arm after installation if required before performing a vehicle height reduction.
