The fasteners of the overhead console can be disengaged by pulling downward while holding the console. Then disconnect the electrical connectors from the overhead console. The retainers require plier compression during the power quarter window/multi-function switch removal from its housing. Installation requires users to place the power quarter window/multi-function switch directly into the overhead console opening then connect the electric cables. Put the overhead console in the correct position within the vehicle space and press it to activate the fasteners which secure the console. Screw in the overhead console while torquing it to 2 N.m (18 lb in) and afterwards position the courtesy lamp lens into the console until firmly in place.
