How to replace the steering knuckle on Buick Terraza?

To change the Steering Knuckle, the first thing you need to do is lift and support the vehicle in a suitable way. After this, there is a need to take the tire and wheel assembly and the front wheel drive shaft bearing off. Then, remove the front lower control arm ball stud and the outer Tie Rod End from the Steering Knuckle by using the steering linkage and tie rod puller (J 24319-B). Scribe the strut to the knuckle, and then take off the bolts that attach the strut to the knuckle before you pull the knuckle out of the vehicle. For installing, locate the knuckle back on the vehicle and install the bolts that secure the strut to the knuckle, make sure you tighten them to 123 nm (90 ft. Lbs.). Reattach the outer tie rod to the Steering Knuckle and then connect the front lower control arm ball stud to the knuckle and finally replace the front wheel drive shaft tyre bearing. Finally, once you're done, place the tire and wheel assembly back on and lower the vehicle.
