2007 Buick Terraza Steering Knuckle Parts Questions & Experts Answers
Q: How to replace the steering knuckle on 2007 Buick Terraza?
A: To replace the Steering Knuckle, start with lifting and properly supporting the vehicle first. Take off the tire and wheel assembly as well as the front wheel drive shaft bearing. Next, remove the front lower control arm ball stud and unscrew the outer Tie Rod End from the Steering Knuckle using the steering linkage and tie rod puller (J24319-B). Before you take the knuckle out from the vehicle, you will have to tear the strut to the knuckle and undo the bolts that connect the strut with the knuckle. For the fitting, place the knuckle back on the vehicle and attach the bolts on the strut/knuckle assembly, tighten them to 112 n.m (83 lb ft). Reconnect the ant-ternal attachment of the outer tie rod on the Steering Knuckle, attach the front lower control arm ball stud to the knuckle, and install the front wheel drive shaft bearing. Finally, reinstall the tire and gear, and bring the vehicle down.
