Buick Terraza Turn Signal Switch Parts Questions & Experts Answers

  • Q: How to replace the Turn Signal Switch on Buick Terraza?
A: Follow these initial steps by disabling sir and taking off the trim covers from the steering column. Unplug all electrical connectors from the multifunction switch before taking the wire bundle out of the harness strap on the steering column. Start by unscrewing the multifunction switch retaining screws from the steering column and then disconnect all the control electrical connections from the steering column wiring harness. Take out the sir coil from the shaft of the steering column. Secure the multifunction switch to the column tilt point by placing it there with the Turn Signal Switch contact resting precisely on the horn ring. Thread the multifunction switch screws into place until the torque reaches 3 n.m (26 lb in). Route both electrical connectors of the multifunction switch into the bulkhead terminal then link the multifunction switch cable to the sir coil connector. Use new straps to fasten the wire harness to the steering column and then clip the wire harness onto the strap. Install the sir coil to the steering column then place upper and lower trim covers back before turning on the sir system.
