    Q:
How to replace the Turn Signal Switch on Buick Terraza? Posted by Customer
    A:
Follow these initial steps by disabling sir and taking off the trim covers from the steering column. Unplug all electrical connectors from the multifunction switch before taking the wire bundle out of the harness strap on the steering column. Start by unscrewing the multifunction switch retaining screws from the steering column and then disconnect all the control electrical connections from the steering column wiring harness. Take out the sir coil from the shaft of the steering column. Secure the multifunction switch to the column tilt point by placing it there with the Turn Signal Switch contact resting precisely on the horn ring. Thread the multifunction switch screws into place until the torque reaches 3 n.m (26 lb in). Route both electrical connectors of the multifunction switch into the bulkhead terminal then link the multifunction switch cable to the sir coil connector. Use new straps to fasten the wire harness to the steering column and then clip the wire harness onto the strap. Install the sir coil to the steering column then place upper and lower trim covers back before turning on the sir system.

    Q:
How to replace the Turn Signal Switch on Chevrolet Uplander? Posted by Customer
    A:
The replacement process for the turn signal multifunction switch requires disabling the sir system first. Pull away the steering column trim covers before disconnecting the multifunction switch electrical connectors. You must first separate the wiring harness from the steering column harness strap before disconnecting multifunction switch electrical connectors on the steering column wiring harness. Detach the multifunction switch retaining screws to remove the switch from the steering column. Take out the sir coil from the steering column shaft. The installation process involves mounting the multifunction switch to the steering column tilt head where the Turn Signal Switch electrical contact should touch the horn ring. Tighten the multifunction switch screws up to 3 n.m (26 lb in) torque spec. Attach the multifunction switch electrical connectors into the bulkhead connector while connecting the multifunction switch connector to the sir coil connector. New wire harness straps must secure the steering column wire harness before attaching the wire harness to its strap. After attaching the sir coil onto the steering column shaft install the upper section along with the lower trim covers. Finally, enable the sir system.
