How to replace the Camshaft Position Sensor on Buick Terraza?

Begin the Camshaft Position Sensor replacement process by first killing the ignition power while also removing the Power Steering Pump. Unplug the cmp sensor electrical connector before removing the attaching bolt to take out the cmp sensor. Check the cmp sensor o-ring for wear and cracks and leakage if you do not plan to change the sensor. Before installation apply engine oil to the o-ring and replace it with a new one in case of damage. Tighten the retaining bolt for the cmp sensor to 8 n.m (71 lb ft) while installing it. The Power Steering Pump installation requires reconnecting the cmp sensor electrical connector followed by the installation of the Power Steering Pump.
