  A: The replacement procedure starts by raising the vehicle then supporting it and continuing with the tire and wheel removal from the right front position followed by the right engine splash guard. Start by disconnecting the wiring harness connector for the Vehicle Speed Sensor before removing its bolt. Handle the Vehicle Speed Sensor with care while you pull it out from the extension case followed by removing the o-ring seal. Check all connectors on the Vehicle Speed Sensor and inspect its housing for cracks or rotor sign of wear and evaluate the o-ring seal for nicks or cuts. Add the o-ring seal into the Vehicle Speed Sensor before putting the sensor back into the extension case for installation. Follow by securing the Vehicle Speed Sensor bolt at 12 n.m (106 lb in). Reinstall the right engine splash shield by reconnecting the Vehicle Speed Sensor wiring harness followed by putting back the right front tire and wheel and finally lowering the vehicle down.
