How to replace the hazard and turn signal flasher on Cadillac CTS?

Start replacement of the hazard and turn signal flasher by taking off the insulator panel from the driver side instrument panel. Unplug the flasher module from its spot on the I/P carrier and disconnect its electrical connector. Connect the electrical connector to the flasher module then put the flasher module retaining clip on top of the I/P carrier before placing the driver I/P closeout/insulator panel back in.
