How to replace the rear door car speakers on Cadillac DeVille?

The first step is to remove the rear door trim panel and disconnect the electrical connector from the speaker, noticing its position. After that, pull the 4 speaker fasteners out and take the speaker from the door. Install the new speaker in the door panel as before, then make sure the connector fits as it had. Use pliers to tighten the speaker's 4 fasteners to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in). For the installation, place the new speaker in the door panel, connecting the electrical connector as you previously noted. Then, fit the 4 fasteners in the door panel and tighten them to 2.5 N.m (22 lb-in). After that, reinstall the trim panel on the rear door.
