How to replace the MAP Sensor on Cadillac DTS?

The first step for changing a Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor requires removal of any necessary fuel injector sight shield. Disconnect the engine harness electrical connector from the MAP sensor before you remove the MAP sensor bracket bolt and bracket and the MAP sensor itself. First install the new MAP sensor into position after setting the MAP sensor bracket with its bracket bolt and finishing through tightening it to 10 N.m (89 lb in) as specified in Service Precautions Fastener Notice. To finish reinstall the fuel injector sight shield if removed before you reconnect the engine harness electrical connector to the MAP sensor.
