Use a screwdriver to separate the automatic transmission shift lock control from the steering column support assembly after disconnecting its connector then remove it from the steering column. Begin the installation by putting the column in the neutral position then insert the automatic transmission shift lock control. To adjust the control pull the tab accessible on the block side while moving the column into neutral position then use the adjuster block to push the internal adjuster spring until the block reaches the far end of the solenoid. To proceed with installation begin by setting the column to park then stabilize it with a tab push to the rear side.
