The outer finish panel can be removed by unfastening its components and then raising it off the seat cushion frame retention clip. Separate the power seat switch from the outer finish panel by removing all fasteners until you can take out the power seat switch pack. The power seat switch pack requires installation onto the outer finish panel at 0.8 N.m (7 lb in) torque. The seat cushion must receive the outer finish panel while electrical connectors should be attached ensuring proper retention of the outer finish panel to the seat frame's retention clip prior to tightening the fasteners. Secure the outer finish panel to the retention clip on the seat cushion frame through tightening fasteners to 2 N.m (18 lb in). To finish the installation process mount the two forward seat switch knobs by pushing them inward until they click into place before positioning the seat.
