The first step begins with removing all body-mount bolts from the fuel filler tube followed by uninstalling both right rear wheel and wheelhouse liner. To detach the fuel filler tube safely from the vehicle start by removing the brake bolt that fixes the filler tube brace and disconnect the Fuel Filler Hose from the Fuel Tank and the filler vent tube from the evaporative emission (EVAP) hose. Attach the filler hose to the Fuel Tank while tightening the fuel filler tube hose clamp to 3.5 n.m (31 lb in). Secure the fuel filler tube brace bolt at 9 n.m (80 lb in) after connecting the evap hose to the filler vent tube and afterward fasten the fuel filler tube to the body with bolts tightened to 3.5 n.m (31 lb in). After reusing the right rear wheelhouse liner and right rear wheel the tank requires fuel addition followed by leak inspection and conclusion with fuel filler cap installation.
