  Replace the Mass Air Flow Sensor/intake air temperature (MAF/IAT) sensor while avoiding damage to the air inlet honeycell and maintaining contact with cleaning solvents or lubricants; a light application of non-silicone based lubricant on the air duct will facilitate installation. Start by taking off the air cleaner outlet duct followed by removing the gray connector position assurance (CPA) retainer to disconnect the Mass Air Flow Sensor/iat sensor electrical connector through black clip depression. Lease the Mass Air Flow Sensor/iat clamp before removing the sensor from its position on the air cleaner assembly. Install the new Mass Air Flow Sensor/iat sensor by directing its embossed arrow towards the motor and fasten it to the air cleaner assembly until the clamp achieves 7 n.m (62 lb in). Continue by attaching electric wires to the Mass Air Flow Sensor/iat sensor before forcing in the gray cpa retainer while reinstalling the air cleaner outlet duct.
